I have been twice to Feroz Shah Kotla. I will tell you both my experiences so that you can decide for yourself.
I got to the stadium pretty early i.e. around 2 hours before. They open gates 2 hours prior to the match time. It was great as the players were practicing 20 minutes later. We got very good seats as we were among the first ones to reach my stand. We got a good view throughout the match.
- I got to the stadium late when 2–3 overs were over around 8:20. I got seats with poor views with a roof over me and pillars all around. Very far away from the ground and was very uncomfortable with the roof as it was very hot weather.
- Based on my experience I would recommend you to reach the stadium at 7:15 for an 8 p.m. match for the best experience!
